But that was DE DEAL MANS! As much astoundment as I can stomach, My New Year was helluva rollercoasteride! A literal up and down, east and west (of Singapore). Never did I expect that when I was ushering in the New Year with the thousands at Marina Bay, some loved ones were also counting down with me. It was the true of meaning of ‘so near yet so far’…the IRONy of it all.

Let’s just put it this way, I have a feeling 2008 has lots in store for me. New Year itself was a big bang! what more the days after. And also! I learn and conclude that the eve and new year itself will be two days I’ll remember for the life of me. I’ve even name these two significant days Shazid(!) simply because it’s their birthdays laaar!!!!!! By that I mean, it was Shasha’s b’day on the 31st Dec and Yazid’s on every New Year.

Yassshhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Think Yataaa!) Met Ultah!!! yang terlewat! Sorri Dori Stroberi! Buat Zid, Semoga tercapai semua cita-citamu melangit tinggi. Suatu hari nanti, insya-Allah pasti. Stay Beckkam, Samuel! Kangen banget, tau!

Buat Shasha, serikandiku yang solehah ;p I think we’ve been thru alot together in a span of 2 years or so and i’m never more grateful for the friendship. You’ve been wonderful, sweet, generous, kind, and everyting nice. Like I said, may Allah bless all your deeds multiple folds. Amin.

And so, that marks the last entry for me in this wordpress edition of my blogging series. it’s been nice and rigid, it has served me good, but it’s not for me. I’ll update my new location soon.

2. I slept with my youngest sis last night. complete with 3 giant furry cat dolls *i’m not kidding you* a pair of pillow and bolster, stinking at that and her trusted winnie the pooh stuffed toy. She claimed not be able to sleep without these items. hur.

3. My mum made me put on ginseng mask with egg today. I left it on until it hardened and I practically had to scrub y face to get the egg off. double hurhur.

4. I’m still jobless and next year is just next week. relackkkkk. chiiilllllllllllllllllllll

My face was as white as sheet at the ski resort because we were snowball fighting and the freaking Korean palace guard sure looked like Takeshi Kaneshiro la Seoul!

What are the chances of getting your prayers answered for snowflakes falling on the first night you reached your destination? one in a million

What is the probability of bumping into a hunky Muslim Morroccan who treated you to a Coffee Bean drink, charmed you with his dazzling eyes and asked you out again the next night for supper, took an adventure ride on the subway and ended the rendezvous with a gung-ho handshake? Definitely, one in a million!

It was fun while it lasted. The totally random meet with the model slash casting director holds a story the size of Seoul altogether! When I told Hassan about it, he was just as cool as a cucumber (that cucumber!), which is good, i think, since my tiny little cousin predicted he’d cry and wail out loud if I were to tell him what happened. I think the model’s looking for a wife, and I hope he bumps into Leyana or Ratna while you girls are there because he’s too big for my physically tiny little cousin. Haha!

I am glad, trip to Seoul was okay, and over. It could have swayed me I swear, with that lingering aftershave scent and the deep set eyes, but it’s over and it’s back to reality now. *sigh of relief*

I’ve been bumming alot and painting the town red, literally. It’s good that my parents do not really pressurize me to start working proper, but i know i have to start on the job hunt soon enough. I met a few people who asked what I’m doing now and I flatly answered with a casual “I’m taking my own sweet time”. One even blatantly pointed out my wasted time in NTU should I dig my grave in teaching. Well, excuse me, thanks for your suggestion, but I’ll decide my own life, thank you very much.

I’ve been happy, dandy and spending like royalty. AND that’s the life of a balqis (princess), al haar (hot) at that but maybe, just maybe, I’ll revert back to the old blog. Slogging like a cinderaila fits me to a tee. Who knows what these itchy fingers can do? A private one perhaps? or probably a little change to the I, and you ask whY? We’ll see, after the much anticipated S(e)oul searching, a major overhaul awaits.

For now, I will take a lil break and bask in some snowflakes before I enjoy the sunshine again. Be good, people! Adios! =D
